My Process
Before designing in figma I did a little bit of background research, looking through other's portfolio websites, I wanted mine to adhere to design principals, while maintaining my own unique perspective. I wanted a cool, bubbly, and charming design that gave a sense of friendliness and openness. While designing I made my own rough iconography, most of which was scrapped, as it did not adhere to the image I had envisioned. The original figma design had felt more like a scrollable slide show than an actual website. While most concepts were scrapped for the final product, the design process is what led me to the finished product, keeping the vision I had in mind and adapting.
